Song Switcher ("the app") is a tool for bands and musicians to synchronise PDF song sheets across devices over a local WiFi network. This policy describes how the app handles data.

Data We Collect

The app itself does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to servers we operate. There are no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. The only data processing involving third parties is for subscriptions, described below.

Files

PDF files you import are stored locally on your device only. They are shared directly between devices on your local network when you use the sync feature. Files are never uploaded to the internet or to any remote server.

Network Usage

The app uses your device's local WiFi network solely to communicate with other devices running Song Switcher on the same network. Sheet music and sync data never leave your local network.

Subscriptions & Payments

Leader mode is offered as a paid subscription. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. We never see or store your payment card details.

To process and validate purchases, these providers may handle information such as a purchase token, an anonymous app/user identifier, your device and platform type, country, and IP address (used for billing and fraud prevention). This is governed by their own privacy policies:

The app periodically checks your subscription status to confirm whether Leader mode is active. This check communicates only with the billing providers above.

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
